SUBANG JAYA: School of Education Showcased their work during the fun with Humanities Event as an initiative to showcase different learning experiences provided by the school.
“Being only two years old the event gives school of education a chance to showcase what we have done in that period of time,” Student of School of Education Felicia Wong, 20, said.
The events sole purpose was for students to gain soft skills and critical thinking, as a way of preparing them to own their future.
“We have a lot of exciting stuff that we do, despite people thinking we are boring we do have a lot of stuff going on. We go to different places, we travel overseas and even teach in rural areas,” Felicia added.
Fun with Humanities was trying to show students courses offered at school of education aren’t as boring as they perceive them to be. Their courses require hands on work, going out of their comfort zone and even internship programs.
Felicia said, “We are genuinely inspired, we genuinely want to be here so it is important for people to remember that every single one of is very human and that a lot of moments during our course of study inspires us.”
“What is important to remember is that we can tell you a lot of human experiences and that’s what we want to show; it’s fun its humanities,” she added.
